the prize structure - me no understand  Huh?

does this means that i get different prize in the swiss and different prize in the top 8?

example:-

I finish 2nd in the swiss and in the top 8 playoff, I lost in the quarterfinal. does this mean I win 8 + 4 = 12 packs?

Pretty much packed a lot of hate against the meta.

If I recall correctly, top 8 was;

Nico (DDT) Vs [Winner]Terry (DDT)
Kar Wye (Doran Junk) VS Kenneth Wong (Doran Junk)[Winner]
Can't recall the spelling, sorry (DDT)[Winner] VS Kenny Tan(HyperUppercutgenisis)
The Singaporean (BGR control)[Winner] VS Jason Yap (Scapegoatshift)

Semis were

BGR control [Winner] VS Huh? DDT
Terry VS Kenneth [Winner 2-1]

Finals

Kenneth, Doranmon & Friends VS Sg Imposter Jund [Winner 2-1)

Finals felt like a standard constructed match, both players basically went into topdeck mode relatively quickly after Imposter Jund basically kept removing every creature Doranmon summoned.

Game 1 started out fast with Kenneth summoning Hierach, Tarmagoyf and Reliquary if I recall correctly...but Imposter Jund answered with a bunch of removal and a timely Blightning forcing Kenneth to discard what would likely have been the game winning Baneslayer one turn before he could cast it. After that Kenneth basically drew lands like 5 turns in a row and lost from a dominating board position....probably would be 6 but he died by then (I feel deja vu).

Game 2 was intense with Kenneth basically stuck on 1 land and a Hierach for several turns but managed to hang in the game with a Tarmogoyf (backed up by Path and Deathmark) long enough to draw a 2nd land to follow up with subsequent Reliquaries and shortly after the rest of his hand. In the end, Kenneth had a lone Tarmagoyf which managed to survive (only because Bloodbraid Elf managed to flip a Blightning with Kenneth's hand empty....the only non-creature non-removal spell left in the deck lol) and deal the last few points of damage after Imposter Jund basically sapu'd everything else with it's 1-for-1 removal.

Final game was really close following an iffy mulligan by Kenneth where he traded in a pretty decent hand for a relatively weak one. Fortunately he managed to draw into a few threats and Doranmon was generally the aggressor again in the final match with Imposter Jund content on answering each creature with a removal spell. Both players went into topdeck mode again with Kenneth leading with a Kitchen Finks to his opponent's empty board, but this time Imposter Jund started topdecking like a champion (or maybe he sided out all his lands), drawing a Kitchen Finks about 1 turn away from death. Kenneth drew an Aunty but declined to cast it , then sent in his 3/2 Finks to trade before passing the turn. Imposter Jund drew and cast Blightning forcing Kenneth to discard the Aunty.
(I probably would have casted Aunty the previous turn then attacked with it over the Finks the following turn since Imposter Jund was still at rather low life...i think 6).

Kenneth drew yet another Aunty then sent in his Finks again to trade. Quite heartbreaking since with 2 Aunties the 2/1 finks could grow to 4/3 and outclass Imposter Jund's own 2/1 Finks.

Regardless, Imposter Jund topdecked like a champ again and casted a 4/5 Tarmagoyf, Doranmon drew Marsh Flats. Then Imposter Jund drew Raging Ravine, Doranmon drew....Forest? or something.
Then Imposter Jund drew a Putrefy, Doranmon drew a Jitte which went putrid as the lone Aunty went into the red zone, one last swing from Tama and Ravine and it was all over.

Hope I got the details right, overall fun day for me despite scrubbing out 2-3-1 (entirely my fault, I basically made 1 technical mistake in each round due to my noobness/inexperience with the format which cost me the game, and each of my losses were 1-2, could easily have been me winning 2-1), at least I managed to learn a little about the format and I had a nice view from the last table.

Jeng jeng jeng like a bolt of lightning my memory has been flashed! Edited my previous post with what I remember!

P.S. Other things I learned from last Sunday :p

Wrath of God for Pact of Negation is a good trade;

Tarmagoyf is a better 2-drop than Putrid Leech;

I'm worse than a noob.
