How does GP work?

I'm abit embarassed in asking this question, but no harm done clarifying eh?

So, how exactly does GP (KL) work?

1) How many rounds in Day 1?
2) If you do not make it to Day 2, does this mean you are eliminated?
3) How many wins are required to make it to Day 2?

1) Usually 8 rounds, but if theres alot of players, 9 rounds
2) Yes
3) As long as you go X-2 (only 2 loss), you will make it to day 2

Aih, as much as I want to make it to Day 2, I mistakenly agreed to a skytrex session with my friends on the 14th. Everything is already paid for so I cannot back out :S.

Can you also get the promo Jitte by attending the side events instead?

AFAIK, that would be on March 13, 2010 to March 14, 2010.
